Act 5:
78% of Solo midoceans footprint sits in the products themselves; the materials, the manufacturing, and the transport. That is why we measure at product level: this is where choices meet real impact, by us when we develop a range, and by you when you offer your options to your client.
Impact is an important part of upcoming legislation.
From September 2026, European law no longer allow vague environmental claims or offset-based "climate neutral" labels on a product; every claim needs evidence to back it up (read our article about greenwashing here).
The Digital Product Passport will require carbon data for textiles from 2028 onwards (read our article about the DPP here).
Building robust data takes years, which is why we started measuring before anyone asked us. A carbon emission impact per product does not make that product harmless. It tells you which of the options has less impact, and that is something you can act on, and stand behind, today.
On every product page you will find the CO₂ impact of that product asindicated in the picture.
